OFFICE ASSISTANT

About the role

As a leading provider of temporary traffic management operating throughout the UK from our base in Studley, Warwickshire, we have a long-standing reputation for delivering a high-quality service to our customers. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic person to join our office team.

As an Office Assistant at Beaumont Traffic Management, you will be an integral part of our administrative team, providing essential support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our office, you must be able to adapt within a fast-paced environment and be open to learning all areas of the business. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing and organising office files, documents, and records.

  • Work with local councils.

  • Coordinating and scheduling appointments and meetings.

  • Answering and directing phone calls to appropriate personnel.

  • Greeting and assisting visitors, clients, and employees.

  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment.

  • Supporting other team members with various administrative tasks

You will work under the supervision of the Office Manager assisting them and the Company Directors with their daily duties.

Qualifications and Training

Essential Qualifications

  • Hold GCSE 9-4 (A-C) in English and Maths (or equivalent)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities​

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an office assistant, administrative assistant or other related role
